CQE Days

 

 

The Centro de Química Estrutural is pleased to organize the 1st edition of the CQE Days, which will take place at the Hall (Salão Nobre) of Academia das Ciências de Lisboa, on May 30th and 31st.

The main purpose of the CQE Days will be to share information about the research work carried out by researchers from CQE, through oral (15 min) and panel communications, aligned in agreement with the four Thematic Lines of the CQE:

In addition to regular communications and a dynamic poster session, the programme includes 4 keynotes from well-known invited researchers and a round table to discuss hot research topics aligned with CQE strategy.

Special Molecules Issue

A special issue of Molecules, entitled 1st CQE Days Meeting: 44 Years Connecting People and Chemistry, is open for submission until February, the 29th, 2020. This Special Issue will cover the research performed at Centro de Química Estrutural (CQE) mostly during the 1st edition of the CQE Days meeting, with the intent of sharing information about the research work carried. We have had a fantastic participation from CQE members, it has surpassed all our expectation! We are very sorry, but we have to close inscriptions, we have no more space at the venue!!!

We are hard at work to give you the best possible CQE experience, and we already planning the next CQE Days edition!!!

Venue

CQE Days will take place at Academia das Ciêcnias de Lisboa, at Rua da Academia das Ciências, 19, in the historical zone of Lisbon.

You can get there by bus (92, 706, 727, 758, 773), using the classical 28 tram or taking the subway to Rato or Baixa-Chiado.

Awards

The best oral and poster presentations at the 2019 Spring Edition of CQE Days will be awarded prizes by molecules, an Open Access Journal by MDPI, FCUL and IST.

 

Registration and Abstract Submission

All CQE members and collaborators are invited to register (obligatory) and submit an abstract (optional) using a template that can be downloaded here. Once filled in it should be sent to cqe.meeting@tecnico.ulisboa.pt.  

Note that abstract submission can be performed online until April the 24th.
