Técnico - Campus Alameda

Located in one of Lisbon’s most central areas, IST @ Alameda campus is surrounded by a wide range of public transportation networks, allowing easy access to all points of the city.  IST@Alameda campus was built under the direction of Duarte Pacheco and was concluded in 1937 by Porfírio Pardal Monteiro, who created the first autonomous campus of the Portuguese university system.

Nearby the campus you can find the subway (green, yellow and red line) and several bus stops.

Parking

Students have access to limited parking spaces. Limited access cards will be assigned to Técnico students and scholars, researchers (who do not have an employment relationship with Técnico), upon application and selection process.
Apply for parking
To apply for a parking, you first need to have access to the Técnico Login area (Fénix) and then request a limited access card.
Parking permits fee
Parking permits are free of charge for Técnico employees and collaborators. For all other users the fee is five (5) euros paid once (this is not an annuity). Please note that for any user the cost of issuing a new card for loss or damage is ten (10) euros.

Where to eat?

Alameda Campus offers a wide variety of food services: 3 canteens (1 for students, 1 for researchers, faculty and staff, and 1 for all IST community), restaurants and cafeterias.

Library 

Libraries at Alameda Campus are free access and provide a wide range of information to the academic community, aiming to preserve IST’s documentary heritage.

Health Assistance

The Health Services are committed to diagnose and treat quickly and effectively, offering a wide range of medical specialties, respecting the dignity and the individual’s well-being. You can find more information here.

Bank services

Banco Santander Totta (Santander) and Banco Português de Investimento (BPI) have a branch on campus.
