World’s Top 2% Scientists list

Stanford University (US) has developed a set of metrics, associated with citations made by peers, which allow measuring the impact of research work published over the years. A database of over 100,000 top-scientists providing standardized information on citations, h-index, co-authorship adjusted hm-index, etc, has been published  regarding the year 2020. Separate data is published for career-long and single year impact and Portugal is represented in both lists. About 483 scientists affiliated with Portuguese institutions are present in the database that measures the impact throughout their career and about 703 scientists appear in the annual list for 2020. CQE is present with 19 researchers, 14 from IST and 5 from FCUL, highlighting the importance of the research carried in our center: Alda M.P. Simões, Armando J.L. Pombeiro, Carlos Nieto Castro, M.
