The XRD facility @CQE-Técnico is located in Torre Sul, on the IST Alameda campus. This infrastructure is dedicated to the study and application of both powder and single crystal X-ray diffraction techniques, supporting the research needs of scientists from different public and private institutions, and industry professionals. 

Our mission is to facilitate groundbreaking research, foster academic excellence, and drive innovation in various scientific disciplines, by providing world-class resources, expertise, and support on the analyses of crystalline materials. 

We further provide a dynamic environment for students to explore the structural properties of various materials, from crystals to nanoparticles, and to gain a deep understanding of their atomic and molecular structures.
