On April 24, 2026

Marco Sá, PhD student at the Molecular Architectures, Reactivity and Catalysis Lab (MARC Lab), was awarded the Best Oral Communication Award at the 15th edition of the Inorganic & Bioinorganic Chemistry Conference (IBiCC 2026).

The conference took place from 8 to 10 April at the Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa, bringing together researchers in inorganic and bioinorganic chemistry.

The award recognised Marco Sá’s oral presentation entitled “FGFR-Targeted ruthenium–peptide conjugates with pH-responsive linkers for selective breast cancer therapy”, highlighting the quality and impact of his research.

This distinction reflects the excellence of research carried out within the CQE community and the contribution of early-career researchers to advancing the field.
