CQE with 16 Researchers Among the Top 2% Most Cited Worldwide

Centre de Química Estrutural (CQE) stands out in the “Stanford Ranking,” which identifies the 200,000 most-cited scientists globally, representing the top 2% of the scientific community. This ranking, promoted by Stanford University (USA) in partnership with the Elsevier editorial group, includes 16 top-influenced career researchers affiliated with Instituto Superior Técnico and Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa.

The ranking evaluates scientists across 22 scientific fields and 174 disciplines, using rigorous metrics to recognize the impact and relevance of their contributions. The presence of so many CQE researchers in this prestigious ranking reflects the excellence of the research conducted at the institution.
