As part of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences’ (ABC) annual Magna Meeting, a formal ceremony was held at the Museum of Tomorrow in Rio de Janeiro to mark the signing of a cooperation agreement between the ABC and the European Academy of Sciences (EURASC). The event highlighted the strengthening of international scientific collaboration between Brazil and Europe.
Representing EURASC, Professor Armando Pombeiro took part in the ceremony as the Agreement Coordinator. The agreement had already been signed in Lisbon by EURASC President, Professor Rodrigo Martins. On May 6, during the session in Rio, it was formally signed by ABC President, Professor Helena Nader, and Professor Armando Pombeiro.
This agreement aims to foster joint scientific initiatives, promote academic exchange, and encourage collaborative research projects between members of the two esteemed institutions.
