Leonor Cort�-Real awarded the Best Oral Communication, sponsored by the Medicinal Chemistry Division of the Portuguese Chemical Society (SPQ) at the 13� Encontro Nacional de Qu�mica Org�nica and 6� Encontro Nacional de Qu�mica Terap�utica (Aveiro, 15-17 January 2020).

Catarina Dias was awarded the Best PhD Thesis in Medicinal Chemistry 2019 sponsored by the Medicinal Chemistry Division of the Portuguese Chemical Society (SPQ) at the 13� Encontro Nacional de Qu�mica Org�nica and 6� Encontro Nacional de Qu�mica Terap�utica (Aveiro, 15-17 January 2020).

Highlight in CORDIS

The work of Alexandra Antunes (Principal Researcher of CQE) in the detection of lupus-specific biomarkers to improve diagnosis of this devastating autoimmune disease has recently been highlighted in CORDIS after receiving financial support from the competitive SME Instruments call within the Horizon 2020 framework at the level of concept and feasibility assessment phase. The start-up company, Clarify Analytical, co-Founded by Alexandra has developed the Clarify Lupus diagnostic test.
