Women TechEU funds R-Nuucell spin-off

Something in Hands - Scientific Research Lda. (R-Nuucell), a spin-off from FCUL, founded by Maria Helena Garcia and Andreia Velente, will receive funding of €75,000 to develop a new drug for triple negative breast cancer (TNBC), within the scope of the CanceRusolution project, whose preliminary results show the anti-metastatic potential of the new substance, according to a press release issued this Monday by the Faculty. The spin-off is one of 50 companies in the European Union recently selected by the Women TechEU pilot program, created to support emerging deep technology companies led by women.
