Alexandra M. M. Antunes is part of a team that did the first clinical trial that has a private hospital as a promoter.
In the work, recently published in Scientific Reports, a new measurement method was developed, the Paracetamol Sulfonation Index (PSI), which is a potentially useful tool in precision medicine, as it allows to study individual variability in the response to drugs.
