Research Thematic Lines

One aspect of the organization of CQE is the allocation of its scientific interests into different thematic lines (TLs):

SYNCat - Synthesis, Catalysis and Reactivity 

MATSoft - Materials, Soft Matter and NanoChemistry

SUSChem - Sustainable Chemistry for the Environment, Energy and Manufacturing

MEDLife - Medicinal and Biological Chemistry for Health

All TLs are closely aligned with the CQE mission, namely the production of high-quality scientific research to solve important societal challenges that impact our era. In addition, every TL reflects the vocation of CQE to develop a novel scientific concept from an early stage of low technological readiness level (TRL) to its validation in industrial relevant environment at TRL6.
